Rome, March 7, 2025 – Investire SGR (part of the Banca Finnat Group), a leading asset and investment management company in the Italian real estate sector, today announces the lease of an approximately 1,700 sqm property located at Corso Europa 11 in Milan to a top-tier Italian banking group. The transaction, carried out on behalf of the Secondo RE real estate fund—managed by the SGR and exclusively subscribed by the National Pension and Assistance Fund for Chartered Accountants—fits into a larger urban regeneration initiative. This initiative has seen the Corso Europa district undergo significant transformations, including the enhancement of pedestrian and cycling areas and the opening of the new M4 metro line, which directly connects the city center to Linate Airport.
The project, designed by Giuseppe Tortato Architetti, aligns with the most modern sustainability standards and aims to achieve LEED GOLD certification. The Secondo RE real estate fund focuses on enhancing a strategic real estate portfolio, primarily consisting of office properties across Italy, particularly in Milan and Rome, with targeted investments for the redevelopment of high-value assets in line with the latest market needs.
"This transaction represents a key milestone in the fund’s strategy to enhance its real estate portfolio, reinforcing our commitment to the regeneration of high-value assets. Leasing the property to a leading banking operator confirms the strength of our vision, which seeks to maximize the value of real estate assets through repositioning, increasing their efficiency and quality," said Domenico Bilotta, Managing Director of Investire SGR.
"The lease of the Corso Europa building confirms that responsible real estate management, which includes urban regeneration projects, can be the foundation of a sustainable investment strategy, such as the one pursued by the Cassa in recent years," stated Ferdinando Boccia, President of the Cassa Dottori Commercialisti. "Over the years, in order to optimize real estate management, we have been implementing a strategy to enhance our assets by entrusting high-value properties requiring significant redevelopment to specialized operators such as Investire SGR, the manager of our Secondo RE fund."
