The IBI (ICCREA BANCA IMPRESA) fund is an ethical social housing fund with the aim of finding opportunities in Italy for investments by private entrepreneurs, clients of IBI or of other institutes in the same banking group, which had received mortgage loans for developing real-estate undertakings that, due to the current economic situation, had not started or were left unfinished and/or unsold.

The Fund’s strategic objective is to acquire assets, mainly for residential purposes, directly from the entrepreneurs. Most of the units will be rented at controlled rates, while a remaining part of the buildings, which will be acquired by the  Fund, will be destined for approved sale or rented with a buy-back option after 8 years.
